The MLS has released the schedule for the Sounders 2012 Season.

When looking at the schedule a few things stand out. First the Sounders have a Week 1, March 12th bye due to the CONCACAF tournament.

Secondly, all three matches vs the Portland Timbers will be nationally televised. First two matches are away and take place on June 24th on ESPN, then September 15th on NBC, then finally a match at home on October 7th on ESPN, where we will once again take home the Cascadia Cup.

The Sounders kick off the MLS season at home on March 17th vs Toronto FC, and close the season on October 28th vs the LA Galaxy, a game that conceivably could decide the 2012 Supporters Shield.
